Living the dream

If you talk to me for two minutes, you’ll soon guess that I am a true New Yorker….accent and all.  I was born and raised in the Bronx.  I had a pretty normal childhood and because my father was a construction worker, I naturally followed in his footsteps as a sheet metal worker for the union….I quickly moved from apprentice to journeyman to construction boss, and eventually found myself running multi million dollar jobs and managing hundreds of union workers with names like Sal and Big Tony..

Somewhere along the way, I became interested in real estate and got my license in New York.  I was doing construction during the day, and working real estate at night and on the week ends.  Fortunately for me, real estate came naturally to me….I guess because I am truly a “people person”….I’ll talk your ears off if you let me.  It wasn’t long before I was making more money selling real estate than I was doing construction….well, my mother didn’t raise no fool….I quickly figured out that I could make more money wearing a coat and tie and talking to people about real estate, than fighting with a bunch of union guys to try and make budgets and deadlines.  I quit the construction business and went full time into real estate.

As my expertise and success grew, I was able to buy two Century 21 offices in New York….I don’t know how it happened, but I found myself managing nearly a hundred real estate agents….mostly women, and having a great time….a far cry from managing hundreds of rough and burly construction workers!

In 1980, I was offered an opportunity to move to sunny Florida and manage the sales operations for a large Florida developer/home builder.  We did great, and many of the homes and homesites in West and South Florida are a byproduct of those days.

Around 1984 I became interested in the booming real estate market in the Orlando area as a result of the Walt Disney World moving to central Florida.  I was fortunate to be one of the founding influences in developing the second home market in the Orlando/Disney area….and, well, the rest is history, as they say.  Today, I run a successful real estate office that specializes in the Retirement and Second Home market.  As a resident of central Florida, I love the great weather and countless things to see and do.

I look forward to helping you discover the central Florida life style….my staff and I are here to help you each step of the way.

So what are you waiting for?  Join me in “Living The Retirement Dream” in sunny Orlando!

Warmest Regards,
